This is a great little hardcover book with beautiful pictures and tasty tropical drink recipes. I haven't made any of them, because I bought it to go in our beach house rental, but our guests have been using it and sending me pictures of their concoctions! It's been a big hit, I stand it up next to the blender on the counter. Even when I was just looking through it before I put it in the beach house, it made me think of the beach, the tropics, etc.
Lots of variety of drinks! Good book!

Lot of delicious drinks to try
Has some great ideas and recipes for summer drinks. I would recommend this book. Kim Haasard does great work. I have all her books and use them all the time.
I don't know about you, but I was looking for a SIMPLE book to get recipes from for some summertime drinks. THIS IS NOT THE BOOK FOR YOU unless you or your relative owns a Bar Business. You tell me........... do you have the following ingredients handy in home in your bar? If not, you'll have to find them because this is how this book reads: Vanilla, Orange, Citrus, Spiced, Demerara, Coconut , light Amber Body and "aged" Rums, Yellow Chartreuse, Cruzan Mango Rum & Blue Curaco. How about Demerara Syrup,. I know we have all have Fernet-Branca , Licor 43, Reposado Tequila, Hangar One Mandarin Blossom Vodka, Passion Fruit Syrup, Agave, Guava and Mango Nectars, Hennessy VS Cognac, Cointreau, Zacapa 23 Rum, Orange Curaco, Orgeat Syrup and last but FAR from least ..........ready..........St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur just waiting to be mixed up. Seriously??? Are you kidding me??? You MIGHT be able to find some of these if you live in a Big Metropolitan City..........but live outside Chicago, New York, LA, Miami in a small town with 1 liquor store within 25 miles.......... lots of luckI'm not about to spend a small fortune buying these expensive ingredients to use once in a blue moon. The author must be outside her mind.
Very good drinks.
Just this morning 6/17/2013 on Fox 10 here in AZ. I watched the author of this book prepare several punch recipes live on screen. So I quickly jotted down the title of her book and about 20 minutes ago I purchased it for my Kindle. I just now looked at it and was so disappointed since all it contains are 101 recipes for drinks that serve between 2 to 8. What she was showing us on TV was punch to serve 20 people. I know this may not sound like a huge deal because some of you would figure out how much of each ingredient you would need to triple or quad triple for a large quantity. I don't have time for that stuff nor do I want to hassle with it!! She made it sound like all her Punch recipes were in her book. What a farce!!! That is why I returned my Kindle copy.
