These talented individuals have taken it upon themselves to document these structures and teach us all a bit about the history that surrounds us and why capturing their essence, whether deteriorating or in hopes of restoration, these buildings contained people and memories, and symbolism of our beautiful state that should be preserved and acknowledged for their mystery, the future, and for the artful beauty and many stories they held and still exude today. Art and love for ones community and historic documentation at its finest! Thank you all for this book! I’m inspired and will treasure it. Great work!!
Got my copy, sat down and read it cover to cover. Not only covers some of the more interesting spots in Arkansas, but also covers some of the more interesting people in Arkansas, mainly the authors! Great pics, great stories, great behind the scenes emotive motivation for exploring the present through the past.
