I was disappointed with how sweet a lot of these recipes are. For example, in the cinnamon apple oatmeal, it calls for a packet of sweetener when it includes apples (natural sweet) and vanilla protein powder (always sweetened). For those of us trying to cut back on the level of sweetness, real and artificial, in our diets, its a lot. I made that recipe without it and it was great. So I don't know why it was added.For those who are following a paleo or grain-free type of diet, there isn't a lot here that fits.

This is such an attractive book with beautiful photos. I have made about six of these yummy recipes and have loved them all. My favorites are cherry vanilla french toast, banana walnut bread pudding, sunny eggs over avocado toast, bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, avocado toast with spicy sausage, and all time favorite- blueberry protein pancakes. I am the proud mother of the author and have been a taste tester many times during the process. With her knowledge and support, I have managed to lose weight and maintain good nutrition while enjoying these tasty, filling and satisfying treats.The fact that these recipes are high in important protein and low in calories is an added bonus.You will be pleasantly surprised...

Awesome!! Turned 50 something this month and made the decision to lose those extra lbs. I was looking for recipes to help eat healthier. Who knew I would find a book with great tasting foods that also helped me lose weight, while eating healthier!! This book has amazing ideas from Orange Cream Smoothie bowls to... yes... I get my Bacon, Egg & cheese Sandwich!! Author even puts her personal comments in the book to make it an easy read while identifying with me. I was very impressed a simple book could be sooo helpful :-)

Delicious, simple recipes that are quick & easy to make and don't require a lot of ingredients or kitchen tools that you'd have to run out to buy or will use once and never use again. Introduces ideas for small, positive changes that won't make you feel like you're losing out on anything. Instead, these recipes will support & sustain a new, healthier lifestyle while being low-maintenance.

This book is a must-have for any breakfast lover and a wake-up call for meal skippers.... easy-to digest nutrition information and user-friendly recipes. The photographs are both beautiful and appetizing. This book makes a great healthy gift for anyone looking to expand their morning meal repertoire.

A very well-written and practical book that makes protein-packed breakfasts a cinch! Lauren provides a lot of simple and on-the-go breakfast ideas as well as valuable nutrition knowledge. My favorites is the breakfast cookie dough :) Also, thank you for providing the recipe nutritionals - for those of us who hate doing it ourselves!
