Exactly like the other shipping container homes book by "louis meier" (not a real person btw). There are so many photos from the old Taj Malodge blog but not a single photo credit. If Louis Meier is such an authority on how to build container homes dont you think he (or she) would of taken some original photos for these books? You know... with a camera? This begs the question; has the person behind this book ever seen a shipping container in real life? If so, why not snap a few photos of it? Also, why put this book out when it's almost identical to your other book? I guess we will never fully comprehend the deranged mind of a digital charlatan.
I like this book. It’s a good overview for people who want to understand all aspects of how to approach building a shipping container home. While I don’t think it will replace expert consultation, this book is a good place to start.

Gives you an better understanding of materials, the process an the cost. The book was easy to understand. With this book I can use it as a guide to start with. It gives me options that I can do with my container. Its an easy read, not filled with construction terminology. I highly recommend this book.

Very helpful and informative
I though it was a great starter guide. What i did like the most it had exterior and interior deminsions. Other then that pretty much like almost every container build but a bit more detailed. For me what it lacked was combining conventional construction with container construction. For most it's a pretty good introduction to containers.
I think this book is a great intro into the container home phenomenon. I am also very interested and desire to take the plunge. I think this book is much better written than all of the other ones I have read. It is still a little vague but I think they are on to something here as a great intro to hook people on sustainable living. I do recommend this book.
As someone who also plans on living in a container home I found it to be incredibly useful. I'm planning on selling my home in March and buying some land to homestead and live off the grid so I appreciate any information I can get!
