Can't say enough about this Book, I, am from Italian Heritage, and was so enthralled by this book, and how it made me look back to a wonderful childhood, with a Loving Family!!!

This wonderful little gem was recommended to me. Having grown up in the same area of New England as Mr. Iannuccilli, and being lucky enough to have been raised by and Italian mom, I found myself reliving some of the same stories Mr. Innuccilli related in his book. I loved it so much I passed it on to a grandson to read.
Alot of memories were captured here.
This book is full of first hand anecdotes about life in a middle class Italian neeighborhood in a large city (Providence, in this case) in the Northeast in the '40's and '50's. It is written from the perspective of a young boy from childhood through high school. Italian or not, it will have you laughing out loud.Jim Valeo
